Acer Aspire 5535/MS2254 DC Power Cable Replaced

This Acer 5535 came in with an extremely loose dc jack. The power cord tip almost falls out when you try to plug it in and won't power on. This is almost always the case of a failed power connection and needs to be replaced.
The 5535 needs to be completely taken apart to access the dc jack. This dc jack is actually plugged into the motherboard via a cable and the center pin is Acers standard 1.65mm.
I will be uploading a video of step by step tear down guide for this model so stay tuned!
The picture shows the power jack after it was removed from the laptop and as you can see it came completely off the cable. You could attempt to solder it back on but we install a brand new jack to make it last as long as possible.
The plastic housing that holds the dc jack into place was broken so it looks like it received some physical damage. The new cable end (yellow part) needed to be glued to hold it in place with a special gel super glue. We can't warrant this type of repair due to the broken plastic.
We do all this for our standard $69 parts and labor rate!
