This toshiba A35 came in with the classic symptom of powering off when you touched the power cord plug and would only stay on when held in the right direction.
The A35 use s a six pin, 2.5mm dc jack that toshiba P35 also uses among others.
The dc jack was replaced and the laptop powers on and charges.
