This Acer aspire 4720z came in with the dc jack pushed back inside the laptop. The 4720 laptops use the same problematic dc jack acer has been using for years so it isn't a surprise.
It uses a six pin, 1.65mm dc jack that's soldered onto the circuit board. Below is a before and after picture of the repair. The jack is replaced and the laptop powers on/charges the battery.
