The dell studio 1737 is dell's 17 inch media laptop. With a fast intel dual core cpu and 4gb ram it will handle pretty much anything you throw at it besides heavy gaming.
This laptop came in with the dc jack intact but no power at all. Because the jack wasn't loose or broken I ordered the whole circuit board the jack is located on.
It's a fairly easy laptop to get apart and with this separate circuit board, requires no soldering.
After replacing the board the laptop powers up flawlessly.
